Pragmatism is a contemporary philosophical school that has made significant contributions to the development of modern epistemology, particularly in understanding the nature of truth. This article aims to analyze Charles Sanders Peirce's concept of truth and its relevance to the logic of scientific research and development. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach to the primary literature on pragmatism and works discussing Peirce's thoughts. The results of the study indicate that, according to Peirce, truth is not only understood as the correspondence between statements and reality but must also be tested through practical consequences in empirical experience. The concepts of belief, doubt, inquiry, and habit of mind are key elements in the process of seeking scientific truth. Peirce emphasized that the scientific method is the most reliable method compared to authoritative, a priori, or trial and error methods because it allows for rational and continuous verification. Thus, Peirce's pragmatism not only offers a theory of truth but also builds a methodological foundation for scientific research that is critical, dynamic, and open to revision based on experience.
